This sweet Persian rice pudding called sholeh zard is made with three distinct ingredients: rice, saffron and rosewater. It’s delicate in flavour but so deeply aromatic that it’s hard to stop eating it.
350 g
*Dried rose as garnish not included.
Rice, saffron, rosewater and sugar.
This dessert tastes amazing with or without garnish.
When ready to serve, you can garnish with ground cinnamon and slivered pistachios or almonds and a few dried edible rose petals for colour.
Keep refrigerated, let stand at room temperature for 25 minutes before serving.
